    Love bike wheels with a proper number of spokes.... Red is just a bonus.

    I agree with that somewhat, but some rides can be
    more fun than others-but how can you beat 2 wheels, Lucy?
    Coline, I do love a nice red cycle, but how many spokes do
    you like? I am torn on this!

    Anything less than 36 makes me nervous and just does not look right...

    I used to camp for a month and never had to replace a spoke.

    The 'weight' madness on road bikes drives that fewer spoke idea of course. All of mine are the classic 36 spoke wheels. I am very retro and concur that "steel is real"! Thanks so much for your comments & you have wonderful images on your blog!
